Welcome - A Message from the Director

Welcome to the Ryan C. Harris Learning Teaching Center, the University of Dayton's laboratory for innovation in learning and teaching. We hope that you will visit our Center on the ground floor of Roesch Library.

In the Center you will find useful reference materials on learning and teaching, and a cozy spot to read, study, collaborate, or reflect. Perhaps you might join a community of faculty that teach in the Studio, a flexible instructional space that accommodates a variety of pedagogies. Informative seminars are held in the Forum. Develop your computer software skills through EIT Training in the TeamSpace and MeetingSpace. Develop a Web site and receive other assistance from the e-Learning and e-Media Labs. Learn how service learning can enhance student learning, and interact with the Student Learning Support staff to understand better where the biggest learning challenges lie.

Our staff is eager to help you learn more about learning and teaching. To add ambiance to your LTC experience, The Blend, a student-owned coffee and espresso bar, sells excellent coffee and light pastries and displays the power of learning by doing.
