Teaching a Course in the Learning-Teaching Center's Studio


Proposal Dates:

  • Proposals for Summer and Fall will be reviewed February 15. Those received between February 16 and March 15 will be reviewed together as a second set; those received after March 16 will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
  • Proposals for Winter will be reviewed October 1.

In a proposal of no more than five pages, please respond to the following questions:

  1. How would your teaching scholarship grow by being a Studio partner (i.e., what do you propose to do that's different from or advances what you've done in the past)?
  2. How would you use this space to do what you want to do? Please be as specific as possible.
  3. Explain how you anticipate your use of the Studio and participation in the community of practice is likely to affect student learning.
  4. How will you generate student feedback with respect to the processes you are using?

Please send 4 copies of your signed cover sheet plus proposal to the LTC Coordinator, +1302, by 5 PM on the deadline date or the previous Friday if the deadline falls on a weekend.
